We built Cyrano from the start as a great tool
for professionals. All of the information (pages, blocks, pictures,
etc) are stored on small SD memory cards (the same kind used
in many digital cameras). If you have more than one client, all
you need is an extra card. You can start the day working with
one client, then simply pop out one card and insert a second,
using one card for each client you serve. Once your client is
thoroughly trained and they are ready for their own device, just
take out their card, slip it into a new Cyrano pocket pc, and
the client is ready to use their own machine – no reprogramming
is necessary.
Because the blocks of information can be used for any purpose,
some professionals use Cyrano as a training tool, with the pictures
representing a task analysis of the skill to be learned. Using
the embedded camera, you can create a movie of the task that
your client can watch by just pressing a button.
Cyrano can also be used as a great reinforcer. Because of Cyrano’s
ability to play music, games, or movie clips, you can use Cyrano
to reward a job well done. To aid you in this ability, each page
in Cyrano
can be password protected – reward pages can require the
trainer to fill in the password to gain access. |
