Cyrano Communicator?

Cyrano is a very portable communication tool, giving a voice to people that have lost their ability to speak. With Cyrano, you can communicate through simple pictures and symbols, but also through text and pre-stored phrases. It can help you communicate, but it can also help you remember things, it can store your calendar, even help you gently move from using pictures to text!

What makes Cyrano different is that instead of having a pre-set language system, Cyrano uses open ended tools you can use to build a language tool that's all your own

Who Uses Cyrano?

Hundreds of people all over the United States jon with cyrano web use Cyrano for their basic communication needs. Some have autism, some have apraxia. Others have conditions that just make it difficult or impossible for other people to understand their speech. The unique thing about Cyrano is that it looks just like hundreds of other smartphones and PDAs out on the market. In fact, that's exactly what it is. We created our program to run on an off-the-shelf pocket pc for two reasons; it helps to keep our final cost down, but it also creates a final product that doesn't stand out in public.

Some of our clients use Cyrano as a portable device when they are out on the road. Larger devices and computers are wonderful for hard core communicating, but Cyrano provides you the chance to take your communication on the road, and with our optional speaker cases, you don't even have to worry about a little rain or a tumble - Cyrano can handle it!
